This Privacy Policy applies to the game Merge Beast Arena published by ZazGames ("we", "us"), in every version of the game: the Instant Game on Facebook and Messenger, the Android app on Google Play, and the web version played on zazgames.com or on partner game portals. The zazgames.com website itself is covered by our general Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
ZazGames is an independent game studio based in Morocco. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. The short version
- Merge Beast Arena has no account, no login and no contact form. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or location.
- We run no servers for the game and we receive no personal information from it.
- Your game progress stays with you: on your device, in your browser, or in your Facebook player data for this game (see section 3).
- The game is free and funded by advertising. Ads are delivered by the ad network of the platform you play on, under that network's own privacy policy (see section 4).
3. Information the game stores
The only data the game keeps is your game progress: coins, animals, campaign level, daily reward calendar, settings (music, sound) and which one-time gifts you have already received. None of it identifies you. Where it is stored depends on the version you play:
- Facebook and Messenger (Instant Game): in your Facebook player data for this game, which is stored and managed by Meta under the Meta Privacy Policy, and in the browser's local storage. We cannot read this data outside the game.
- Google Play (Android app): only on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
- Web (zazgames.com and partner portals): in your browser's local storage on that website. Clearing the site's data in your browser deletes it.
4. Advertising
Merge Beast Arena is free to play and is funded by advertising. Two kinds of ads appear: interstitial ads between battles (never when the game starts and never during play), and rewarded videos that play only when you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game bonus. Which advertising network delivers them depends on where you play:
- Facebook and Messenger: Meta Audience Network. How Meta uses data for ads is described in the Meta Privacy Policy; you can adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook settings.
- Google Play: Google AdMob, together with the Google User Messaging Platform, which asks for your ad-consent choice where the law requires it (European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland). See policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off personalised ads, under Settings → Google → Ads.
- zazgames.com: Google AdSense (H5 Games Ads). See the Google links above. You can opt out of interest-based advertising at adssettings.google.com.
- Partner game portals (for example CrazyGames or GameMonetize): the portal's own advertising service, under the portal's privacy policy.
To serve and measure ads, these networks may collect: an advertising identifier or cookie; device information such as model, operating system and language; an approximate region inferred from your IP address; how you interact with the ads shown; and diagnostic information from the ads software. ZazGames does not receive this data; we only see aggregated statistics such as the number of ads shown.
If you see an inappropriate ad, please report it to [email protected].
5. Facebook and Messenger specifics
- Zero permissions: the Instant Game uses Facebook's "Zero permissions" connection. It does not request your name, profile picture, friends list, email or any other Facebook information.
- Notifications: Facebook may send you notifications about the game (for example a reminder to come back). They are sent by Meta according to your Facebook notification settings, where you can turn them off at any time.
- Links and gifts: a link or notification that opens the game may carry a small code that unlocks a one-time in-game gift. The code contains no personal information; the game only records that the gift was received.
6. Analytics
The game contains no analytics software. The platforms it runs on (Meta, Google Play, game portals) show us aggregated statistics such as number of players, sessions and retention. These statistics do not identify you.
7. Children
Merge Beast Arena is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your choices and deleting your data
- Facebook and Messenger: open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites (on mobile: Gaming → Activity), find Merge Beast Arena and choose Remove. Facebook then deletes the game's player data for your account.
- Google Play: uninstall the app. Everything it stored is removed with it.
- Web: clear the site's data in your browser settings.
Step-by-step instructions: zazgames.com/page/data-deletion-instructions. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing further to request from us; if you have any doubt, email [email protected] and we will help.
9. Data security and retention
We keep no personal data about players of Merge Beast Arena, so there is nothing for us to secure or retain. Your game progress remains where it is stored (section 3) until you delete it as described in section 8.
10. International transfers
The platforms and ad networks named above (Meta, Google, game portals) may process information in countries other than your own, under their own policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with its "Last updated" date.
