1. Introduction
ZazGames ("we", "us") operates the website zazgames.com and the ZazGames mobile applications, including the games Squishlab: Butter Squishy and Merge Beast Arena. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or app, you agree to the practices described below.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
You can browse and play games on ZazGames without creating an account. If you choose to register or interact with the site, we collect:
- Account information: a username, your email address, and a password. Passwords are stored in encrypted (hashed) form — we never store or see your plain-text password.
- Optional profile details: information you choose to add to your profile, such as a birth date, gender, short bio, or avatar image.
- Content you submit: comments, game ratings, favorites, and game scores linked to your account.
- Messages: anything you send us by email or through the contact form.
Information collected automatically
When you visit ZazGames, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical data:
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, screen resolution, referring URLs, and the pages and games you view.
- Log files: records of site activity (such as page views, plays, and votes) used to measure overall activity and improve the site.
- Security data: IP addresses are recorded for security purposes, such as login history and the prevention of fraud, spam, and vote abuse.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate the website and app and provide features such as accounts, favorites, comments, ratings, and leaderboards.
- To keep the service secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To understand how the service is used and improve it.
- To display advertising, which keeps all games free.
- To respond to your messages and requests.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. We use cookies for three purposes:
- Functional: keeping you logged in and remembering preferences (for example, your cookie-consent choice).
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to gather statistical information about how the site is used. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Advertising: our advertising partners may use cookies and similar identifiers to measure ads and, where permitted, personalize them.
Your cookie choices
- Browser settings: you can delete existing cookies and block future ones in your browser's settings.
- Ad personalization: you can opt out of interest-based advertising at the Digital Advertising Alliance page optout.aboutads.info, the Network Advertising Initiative page networkadvertising.org/choices, and for Google specifically at adssettings.google.com.
5. Advertising
ZazGames is free to use and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense and other third-party advertising partners on the website. These partners may collect non-personally-identifiable information about your visits (such as pages viewed and interaction with ads) to deliver and measure advertisements. You can read how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
All advertisers must comply with industry guidelines. If you see an inappropriate or offensive advertisement, please report it to [email protected].
6. Third-Party Game Providers
The games on ZazGames are supplied and embedded by third-party game distribution platforms, including GameDistribution, Playgama, and GameMonetize. When you play a game, it loads from the provider's servers, and that provider may collect usage data and set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers.
7. Information Collected Through Our Mobile App
When you use the ZazGames mobile application, we may additionally collect:
- Device information: device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
- Usage data: features used, session duration, and interactions.
- Log and diagnostic data: crash logs, performance data, and error reports.
- Advertising identifiers: such as the Google Advertising ID, used for advertising purposes.
Our app uses the following third-party services, which may collect information such as your IP address, device identifiers, and usage data:
- Google AdMob — displays advertisements.
- Google Firebase — analytics and crash reporting.
You can opt out of personalized advertising on Android under Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
8. Our Android Games
The subsections below apply to specific ZazGames games published on Google Play. Where a game's subsection differs from section 7, the game's subsection applies to that game.
8.1 Squishlab: Butter Squishy (package com.zazgames.squishlab)
What we collect
Nothing. The game has no account, no login and no contact form. We do not ask for your name, your email address or your location, and we do not receive any personal information about you.
Your progress — coins, unlocked skins and settings — is stored only on your device and never leaves it. Uninstalling the game deletes it permanently. The game does not use Google Firebase or any analytics service.
Advertising
The game is free and funded by advertising. It uses Google AdMob to show banner, rewarded and interstitial ads, and the Google User Messaging Platform to collect ad consent where the law requires it. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect:
- your device's advertising ID;
- device information such as model, operating system version and language;
- an approximate region, inferred from your IP address;
- interaction data, such as which ads were shown and whether they were tapped;
- diagnostic and crash information from the ads SDK.
This data is collected and used by Google under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your ad-consent choice the first time you play. You can change that answer at any time from Settings → Ad Choices inside the game.
- On any device you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off personalized ads, under Settings → Google → Ads.
- Uninstalling the game removes everything it stored on your device.
Age
Squishlab: Butter Squishy is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13.
Permissions
The game requests no sensitive permissions. It declares only internet access, network state and the advertising ID permission, all required by the ads SDK.
8.2 Merge Beast Arena (package com.zazgames.mergebeastarena)

9. Our iOS Games (App Store)
This section applies to our games downloaded from the Apple App Store, currently Squishlab: Butter Squishy. Everything about what the game itself stores and how its ads are placed is the same as the Android version described in section 8; the points below are specific to iOS.
Advertising and the tracking prompt
Our advertising partner, Google AdMob, may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to show ads that are more relevant to you and to measure how they perform.
You are always asked first. When the app starts for the first time, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt lets you allow or refuse this. If you refuse, you still get ads, just not personalised ones, and the game works exactly the same. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Consent in Europe
Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), Google's consent form is also shown, and your choices can be changed at any time inside the game under Settings → Ad Choices.
Ad measurement
Ad performance on iOS may also be measured through Apple's SKAdNetwork, which reports results to advertisers in aggregate without identifying you.
Your data
Your game progress (coins and skins) is stored only on your device and is never sent to us. The iOS app collects no name, no email and no precise location. For how Google uses data, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
10. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics, Firebase);
- Advertising partners (e.g. Google AdSense, AdMob);
- Security and fraud-prevention services;
- Authorities, where disclosure is required by law.
11. Data Retention
We keep collected data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Account information is kept until you delete your account or ask us to delete it. Technical logs may be anonymized or deleted once they are no longer required.
12. Data Security
We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information, including storing passwords only in hashed form. However, no method of transmission or storage over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Children's Privacy
ZazGames does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13, and account registration is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
14. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate data;
- Request deletion of your data, including your entire account;
- Opt out of personalized advertising and analytics as described in section 4.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
15. International Data Transfers
Our service providers (such as Google) may process your information in countries other than your own. By using ZazGames, you consent to such transfers as described in this policy.
16. Third-Party Links
ZazGames may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies before submitting any information to them.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its "Last updated" date. Your continued use of ZazGames after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
